30 Minutes to becoming a better golfer…guaranteed!

When was the last time you were truly confident in how far your ball was going to travel?  You did your homework, walked off the yardage, but when you reach into your bag for the proper club you were indecisive about how far that club was going to go.  This indecisiveness causes inconsistency in your golf game which leads to poor shots and higher scores.

So why is it important for you to know your distances?

  1. To better plot your way around a golf course. Avoiding bunkers, out-of-bounds and other hazards is only done when you know how far you hit each club
  2. Knowing your distances helps you hit more greens per round. Generally more greens are missed short or long than right or left
  3. Knowing how far each club goes allows you to properly fit your club gaps. If your 7 iron goes 150 and your 6 iron goes 153, you can either bend that iron to a different loft to achieve desired results or replace it with another more useful club

A 30 minute Flightscope club analysis well tell you everything you need to know about how far your current or new clubs will travel and roll.  A more low-tech method is to get out on the driving range and hit every club in your bag enough times to get a solid average distance with a range finder. (make sure it’s not too windy).  The winter is a great time to use our Crestview indoor practice facility.  If you are interested in finding out your club yardages setup a 30 minute Flightscope session with a pro at Crestview today!

Since I was a young girl I have been playing the game of golf. My game and skills have progressed thanks to the help from my coach, Trent Rommann. Trent has dedicated a lot of time into improving my skills as well as others. From the summer golf Ping team, to workouts and even individual lessons he helps all that come to him.
As a golfer, I have won two state championships as a member of the Kapaun Mt. Carmel girls golf team. I recently signed to play college golf at Rockhurst University. Because of Trent’s instruction, I have become a more successful golfer.

“When we joined Crestview last summer Trent Rommann welcomed me right in and invited me to join the Ping Jr Interclub Team. Trent has pushed me to be the best player I can be whether it’s on the course or at the gym. Trent always has the best interest for the other kids and I. Trent makes practicing fun with games and prizes. This past November I signed to play golf at Fort Hays State University and can thank Trent for getting me to the level I need to be at to play there.”
