Trent Romman Golf Review of the Cobra F8 & F8+ Drivers:

Cobra F8 Driver

“The Looks”

The 360 Aero Technology looks a lot like Turbulator Technology from PING Golf.  PING introduced this technology in their G30 driver after wind tunnel testing.  PING and Cobra are both claiming this technology helps “reduce wind drag”.

Technology:

Cobra F8 Driver

  • CNC Milled Face: more consistent face with milling technology they can be more precise with the face thickness.
  • Colors Options: Nardo (grey) and Black Finish
  • 360 Aero Technology Reduces drag and improve air flow
  • Face metals: Carbon at the rear
  • Titanium at the front
  • Weighting: back and heel  (draw bias for golfers that fight loosing the golf ball to the right)
  • Head size: 460 cc
  • Cobra Connect technology that connects with Arcos app on your phone to collect your shot data

What does CNC Milled mean to the golfer?  It mean more consistent face thickness across the entire face of the driver which equates to more consistent ball speed on strikes across the entire face of the driver.

Loft and Lie Options: Adjustability 8 different setting to fine tune the driver

“The Looks”

The 360 Aero Technology looks a lot like the Turbulator Technology from PING Golf.  PING introduced this technology in their G30 driver model after wind tunnel testing saying this technology “reduced wind drag” during the golf swing.

This low spinning head option with rear and front weights reminds me of the Callaway Subzero driver.  Not our best selling model by any means and a model that often didn’t live up the “low spinning” head model for many golfers.

Since I was a young girl I have been playing the game of golf. My game and skills have progressed thanks to the help from my coach, Trent Rommann. Trent has dedicated a lot of time into improving my skills as well as others. From the summer golf Ping team, to workouts and even individual lessons he helps all that come to him.
As a golfer, I have won two state championships as a member of the Kapaun Mt. Carmel girls golf team. I recently signed to play college golf at Rockhurst University. Because of Trent’s instruction, I have become a more successful golfer.

“When we joined Crestview last summer Trent Rommann welcomed me right in and invited me to join the Ping Jr Interclub Team. Trent has pushed me to be the best player I can be whether it’s on the course or at the gym. Trent always has the best interest for the other kids and I. Trent makes practicing fun with games and prizes. This past November I signed to play golf at Fort Hays State University and can thank Trent for getting me to the level I need to be at to play there.”
